Pakmeng Beach Resort

It's very quiet and had the like of having really good neighbours!

It needs to have at least another motorbike to rent.

Nancy, with her son Matthew, were excellent hosts. Very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nancy has a good sense of humour and is very professional, always wanting to make sure you have everything you need. Chairs on the beach were a plus, and we were also allowed to use the kayak free of charge. We happened to be there on music night, which was fun to singalong and mix with various nationalities. Thankyou so much Nancy and Matthew for a wonderful stay in the lovely calm area of Pak meng beach (often noone else on the beach !)

The hotel and facilities were kept clean, but, probably due to only local tourism, and not huge local budget, there was quite a bit of rubbish on the beach

Great location, you just have to cross the road and you are on the beach, where the resort has chairs. They also have a kayak and tubs you can take for free. Hot water in the nice bathroom ! Bed a bit hard, but not that much compared to other places in Thaïland. Too bad they don't make breakfast because it's hard to find some in Packmeng.

There is no balcony : every room is in ground floor. The 'Garden view' dosen't exist, you have two chairs and a table in front on your door-window with view on the walking way to other rooms. Bad isolation, you hear your neighbour and it can be noisy. Also there is no couch in the the room, there are bunk beds instead. The description in Booking should be changed. There is a water leak under the toilet, there were yellow and brown marks.... They cleaned after we ask for.

the manager of the hotel was lovely and helpful as I needed help with my trip and booking boats and taxis. she made everything run smoothly.

Enjoyed the location right opposite the beach and close to restaurants , coffee shops and convenience stores. Very helpful staff that speak good English and a good breakfast is on offer for 200bht. They also very kindly did our washing for a small charge. We enjoyed two days out, one to the botanical gardens near Trang and the other to the National park just 9klm away. Both well worth doing. We ate fabulous seafood in 2 different beach side restaurants . The food in both was cheap, approx £7. Per head with beers and excellent quality .

The mattress was too hard for both my husband and myself which made for disruptive and uncomfortable sleep. I think we will travel with inflatable camping matresees next time as this seams to be a common occurrence in Thailand .

We loved everything, the owner welcomed us and helped us so much we are so grateful!!!!! We slept like children all night long! It's quiet and the bed is comfy. Will go back if we come to Thailand again.

Old, bathroom door will not shut. Large gaps in front door. Just not good
