A Refreshing and Joy-Filled Family Getaway at Die Plasie** ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My kids and I had the pleasure of staying at *Die Plasie* during the short-term school holidays, from 28 April to 2 May — and it truly exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, Tessa welcomed us with warmth and kindness, instantly setting the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable stay. The rooms were quaint and cozy, creating the perfect environment to unwind. A surprising highlight for us was the absence of a TV in the room. Instead of screen time, we found ourselves bonding over Rubik’s Cubes, Uno, Snakes and Ladders — and it was such a welcome change. The kids were fully present, and it felt amazing to reconnect without the usual distractions. They especially loved feeding the animals, with the rabbits being their absolute favourite! I initially worried they might be hesitant around the chickens and ducks, but they jumped right in with enthusiasm. The outdoor playground, trampoline, slides, water fountain, horse rides, and especially the zip line kept them happily engaged — the zip line actually became a bit of an obsession! You know a place is special when the little ones shed a tear when it's time to leave. Die Plasie gave us a much-needed break filled with nature, play, laughter, and heartfelt moments. A huge thank you to Tessa for being an amazing Host!! I also had a pleasant experience with the Uber services in the area. I opted not to self-drive and it was pleasant to request and the drivers were very pleasant!

Peaceful and amazing for kids.

the premises was beautiful, I was not disturbed, parking was nice and it was very quite. The little petting zoo was an added bonus and the property was very spacious.

The lack of shower and ants

No TV screens in rooms,no air condition,no microwave in rooms,geyser was switched off sometimes in the morning 🚮
