บ้านชมเขา - Baan Chom Khao

Clean, comfortable, has great hot water and AC. Very peaceful and quiet. Walking distance to the train station. They offer basic breakfast for free in their little outdoor verandah overlooking the river. Delicious and you can upgrade your meal if you desire. They also helped us organise our day trip into Khao Yai National Park. Lovely people, would come back.

The staff were really nice, and keen to let me practise my Thai, and also spoke really good English, so nothing was lost in translation for more pressing concerns. The owner even gave me a lift to the train station on my last day. The cafe was a beautiful place to breakfast. The weird museum next door was a beautiful place for lunch. The location was perfect.

Great location. Easy walk to the night market and a lovely restaurant next door. The breakfast by the river was lovely and great coffee. The staff were so helpful, especially when we enquirer about where to rent a car to get to Khao Yai National Park.

Economically priced and swift communication.

The walls have quite a bit of moist stain spots and are a bjt crumbly due to it, as well as quite a bit of mold in bathroom. The thing that made it a bit uncomfortable though, was the extremely hard mattresses.

Staff was very friendly, spacious room and bathroom, nice little breakfast at the river, quiet yet near the city centre
