Waterside Lodge

Waterside Lodge is an amazing stay, 1 night was far to short for this beautiful setting and room. The view from our balcony was unteal and the room setting and furniture was something out of a fairytale. The bathroom had a bath and shower and toilet in a private corner and was spacious and relaxing. The host and her assistant staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable

Wonderful slightly rustic property full of wildlife! Birds were particularly amazing. Got up early to watch them by our room. Great location 5 mins walk town. Would happily live there full time. Thank you

Mooie rustige locatie in een groene tuin. De huisjes hebben geen airco, maar zijn cool genoeg door de bomen die eromheen staan. Vriendelijke ontvangst er staat een koelkastje waar je je ontbijt in kan zetten. De bordjes en bestek kun je achterlaten en worden afgewassen door het personeel.. De locatie is prima op loopafstand van restaurantjes. je kan zelfs lopend naar het strand maar wij zijn met de auto gegaan. Het strand is heel mooi en je kan kilometers lange wandelingen maken.

Eigenlijk viel niets tegen. Wij hadden het huisje helemaal achterin en dat was prima met een rietgedekte kap erboven wat zorgt voor coole lucht binnenin.

The room is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The decor is luxurious and the garden was full of birds and well maintained with some stunning plants and trees. Great view out to the surf and onto the lagoon and a very convenient location to access the services in Milkwood. Recommend eating with The Girls, the food and service were great, also renting kayaks from the SANParks station in the reserve, Wilderness has some wonderful kayaking on offer. We didn't use the pool at the house but it looked lovely. Jackson was very helpful and attentive to our needs.

There were no coffee making facilities - fortunately we brought our own so not a problem for us but only tea was available for a morning perk up before breakfast. The traffic noise from the N2 nearby rumbled on through the night.

Hier gibt es wirklich alles, was man vielleicht brauchen könnte - jedes Detail ist durchdacht und macht den Aufenthalt z.B. wie bei uns bei windigem Regenwetter sehr angenehm. Insbesondere das Moskito-Netz haben wir nachts gefeiert. Das winzige Stadtzentrum von Wilderness, das Milkwood-Village und das Restaurant "The Girls on the Square" kann man einfach auch in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Der Hinweis für die Fußgängerunterführung unter der N2 durch zum Strand war für uns Gold wert, denn so konnten wir das eigene Auto auf dem Parkplatz vorm Haus für unseren Strandspziergang einfach stehen lassen. Die Kommunikation lief völlig reibungslos über Whatsapp. Danke!
