Gouritz Guesthouse

I liked the village, it is off the beaten track, quiet with a feeling of peace and tranquility. Nice to see residents walking the streets and sitting on a sand dune watching the waves. The unit was clean and comfortable, I liked the king size bed, clean linen, lovely towels, soaps and shampoo dispenser, tea/coffee/sugar, DSTV and wifi amenities. Fridge and microwave in the room. Limited restaurants and shops so best to do your shopping in Mossel Bay.

A bottle of water would have been nice as was unsure if tap water was safe to drink. Small milk would have been welcome too. Best to buy 5 litre bottled water for drinking as well as to fill the kettle. Also a gas geyser so if gas runs out there is no hot water to shower, best to check.

I REALLY ENJOYED my stay & Gouritz Guesthouse.

Located near the river which was wonderful. We were able to use the kitchen/cooking facility which was great.

Was the perfect setup for a quick visit to Gouritz. The space offered everything and more. The electrical blanket was a great addition for the cold and rainy night.

Clean, comfortable and reasonably spacious

The place felt soulless. No host to welcome, nor did we meet the host during our stay. My attempts to use the contact number were unsuccessful. Otherwise it was fine.
