Towerzicht Guest House

The owner was very friendly. Staying here was like stepping back in time. It had a very "Victorian" feel. Room & bathroom was very clean. Eating establishments were a walking distance away, for dinner. The breakfast was wonderful. Our room was air conditioned, but I could tell the other rooms had issues. It was like staying in a classical Victorian mansion. Historical. The furnishings & artwork were amazing!

Hot water tap in the shower didn't work, (I used the old fashion tub for hot water). The plumbing here has issues, (old and probably hard-water issues). The privacy was a bit sketchy. It appeared that not all rooms had their own bathrooms. Alot of creaky floors from outside the room.

We had access to a well-equipped kitchen. Additionally, there was a small fridge located in our room. Everything was kept clean, and the air conditioning functioned efficiently. Despite experiencing load shedding, we enjoyed a well-prepared breakfast. Our host, André, was friendly and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay.

The house has been beautifuly restored. The bed was very comfortable. The garden was beautiful. The hosts where very tentative. Breakfast was good. We really enjoyed our stay
