A nightmare and a scam for tourists. They're shared rooms, with no privacy, no air conditioning, no TV, and nothing else. You're locked in your room for privacy, only a small fan. The bathroom is small and run-down, and it's shared. The tiny shower is shared, so if you need to use the bathroom, it's quicker to go to the garden. You have to wait in line even just to do your business. The house is unwelcoming, with only a bed to sleep in. To get there, you have to park far from the house and walk 400 meters with your suitcases. Then, to get to the beach, you have to walk another 400 meters. There are no services of any kind, and if you're just happy to sleep, you shouldn't stay with your children. The woman has converted the house into a guesthouse with only one bathroom. The rooms aren't uncomfortable. At night, the ants will attack you, and it's full of ants and all kinds of insects. Cobwebs everywhere and dust everywhere, the ants on the bed were the worst thing because I couldn't sleep; it's the worst place I've ever stayed. A tourist scam.

The location, the charm of the house, the owner. The lady spends her day cleaning and making sure everything is fine. She is also full of stories and advice.

I could have said the absence of A/C. But in fact, not only was it bearable by night with only the fan, but actually, we could better tolerate the outside heat by not being exposed to the alternance cold and hot. Again, it's just perfect.

No fuss affordable spot managed by a wonderful interesting host. I loved the terrace so much and the room was spacious. Full hearted recommendation. I will be back.

Quiet basic but value for money

Our stay at the guest house was very nice. Especially the host was very welcoming and lovely, she even made me tea when i was getting a little bit sick. The location is perfect, being close to the beach and also the city center. The Guest House is simple but clean! The Host has a dog.

Lovely lady owning the apartment with the cutest dog! Very spacious room, big balcony, perfect location (half way between the port and famous rat beach - 15mins each way)

The location is perfect, right between Golden Horn and the Old town.

Unfortunately no airconditioning. With windows open it is still too hot, plus quite a lot of noise coming from outside. Overall the building is not well maintained and up to average standards. Old and damaged bathroom.
