Ioki Station Guest House

Kind lady helped check-in and explained how things work. There was a free towel and shower amenities and free coffee/tea. Although noisy at night, its also facinating to see the trains passing by. Lawson is just 5 minutes away!

The place is a bit cramped for me. Same for the room. I seemed to have an fold-out bed and it wasn't the best quality. I changed from head to foot position as it felt like the top position was lower than the bottom position. The room was right next to the train track so at least twice an hour it was noisy due to passing trains (until 12AM). Didn't feel well-rested due to train and bed stuff the next morning.

Nice looking, old traditional Japanese house in Ioki. Pictures show the place well and the place met my expectations. You get privacy in your room through curtains or sliding doors. Modern bathroom and toilet. Area is calm and beautiful. Ioki cave is really close and is amazing. Lawson nearby. Owner is really friendly and helpful. Aki city closeby is a nice daytrip. Also, friendly cat Torami. Recommend for people who want to see smaller towns and spend time in an older house.

The owner is friendly and 80 years old house is very interesting, the cat is cute.
