Barracuda Beach Hostel

Locatie is amazing, directly on the beach where they provide some sunbeds and sunumbrella. The price is very cheap including a nice sweet pancake with coffee or tea they make for you. The air conditioning works well. Is located along the vivid street/boulevard with many restaurants, shops and diving/snorkeling operators. Nice small cabinets at head of the bed.

I stayed here during the low season (28–30) which made The hostel quite empty, and staff weren’t around much. I understand this can happen in low season. Still, I did miss a bit of the usual hospitality and communication, especially during check in and when I wanted to ask for an extra blanket in the early evening and no one was available. The website showed only one mixed dorm left, so I assumed the place was full, but it turned out they only sell that one dorm during low season, and most private rooms were empty which we saw. On the positive side, it did make it easy to connect with the few other guests who were there. (personally I sleep very well) but maybe for lightsleepers, the bunkbeds make a wood-cracking sound.

La ubicación es perfecta frente al mar. Pero hay muchos alojamientos en la misma localización.

La habitación. Ya que esta estaba en bastante mal estado… muebles rotos, paredes llenas de humedades, clavos en las paredes, baño muy muy justo, con la puerta rota, y la limpieza justa. La verdad por el precio podría estar mucho mejor.

Breakfast was either banana pancake or pineapple pancake. Lovely and filling.

Great price, ok comfort, AMAZING location, straight at the beach! They've got the necessary amenities.

Not much, conditions of bathroom was a bit off. Also not really clear where to check in etc.
