Pensiunea Teodora Breb Maramu

La nature et la situation. Calme et paisible.

Hôtes un peu pushy pour les repas. Exige du cash. Alors que réservation via booking. L’accès en voiture, faire très attention. Pas évident. Pas de wifi.

Esperienza molto positiva. Camere pulite e pratiche ognuna con il proprio bagno e doccia moderna che non ti aspetteresti. I padroni di casa non parlano inglese ma con google traduttore e’ stata una comunicazione facile. Al nostro arrivo ci aspettava una zona in comune con a disposizione acqua e liquori locali. Per la pigrizia di spostarci in auto, con molte riserve non sapendo il menu’, abbiamo ordinato li la cena. E siamo molto piacevolmente rimasti soddisfatti della bontà e abbondanza delle pietanze servite al fresco della veranda. Purtroppo non abbiamo goduto della colazione non avendo abbastanza tempo.

Ci e’ piaciuto tutto ma chi ha macchine basse da tenere presente che un bel pezzo di strada per arrivarci è sterrato e dissestato. Noi con il Caddy Maxi abbiamo avuto un po’ di ansie a spostarci la sera al buio ma questo ci ha permesso di goderci li la splendida cena e ripartire con la luce del giorno.

Labai švari, tvarkinga kaimo sodyba. Kambarys nebuvo didelis, bet buvo galima pasėdėti lauke. Šeimininkės nekalbėjo angliškai, bet susikalbėjom :) Užsisakėm pusryčius, tai lauke buvo paruoštas stalas su daug skanaus, naminio maisto. Mums viskas patiko.

Beautiful house with amazing view. Very clean and comfortable rooms, spacious bathroom with nice shower. Traditional decorations make it very cosy. Hosts were brilliant and took very good care of us. We could order breakfast and dinner every day. Food was delicious and good value for money. All food was grown in owner's garden and many products were made by owners: home made cheese, sources, bread etc. Dinner had 3 courses: soup, main dish and a cake for dessert. There was also beer and lical alkohols. It was all lovely, would love to return.

Accueil froid mais la sympathie n'est pas vraiment le fort des Roumains de ce que j'ai pu constater pendant 10 jours dans ce pays. Donc j'en fais abstraction. Nuit horrible. Impossible de dormir. Fête d'anniversaire de la fille Téodora. Une vingtaine de jeunes ont débarqué, klaxon, musique à fond à 21h. Je suis descendue à 22h30 pour savoir à quelle heure se finissant fête. Téodora m'a dit qu'elle ne savait pas. La fête était une surprise et qu'elle n'avait été mise au courant que le matin.Face à mon mécontentement, Il m'a été proposé d'aller dormir chez un voisin ou dans la maison des parents. J'ai refusé ; ma fille étant en plus bien malade. Les jeunes ont été la musique et ont changé d'endroit. A minuit 30, le bruit a repris de plus belle jusqu'à 2h30. Des garçons sont montés jusqu'à ma chambre pour me proposer de venir boire avec eux. J'ai 50 ans et passé l'âge de m'ennivrer avec des ados ! Nous avons improvisé un lit dans la salle de bain pour éviter le bruit. Nuit blanche pour moi..J'aurais aimé être prévenue avant pour annuler ma réservation. Ça aurait été la moindre des choses de la part des propriétaires. Louer des chambres, c'est assurer le calme pour ses guests sinon ce n'est pas la peine de le faire. De l'irrespect total. Pension à fuir ! Nous avons passé deux nuits auparavant dans le même village à la Casa Grai Morosanesc, rien à voir, parfait.

Locația a fost minunată, mâncarea a fost foarte bună și gazdele foarte amabile. Cu siguranță vom reveni.

This is a great place to stay in a laid back, beautiful location. I spent two nights at Teodora's b&b in Breb so I could go up Creasta Cocosului and drive through the villages in the area. I didn't meet any international tourists during my stay. The hosts speak Romanian only. I don't but I was able to communicate through Google translate and helpful guests from Cluj. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There are cows in the barn and chickens in the yard. Dinner is an experience in itself worth the trip, delicious, Transylvanian home cooking, nothing light. Breakfast is over the top. I found fried eggs, omelette, meatballs, bacon, sausage, smoked pork loin, fried chicken, brinza, potatoes, tomatoes and cukes on the platter. I could barely sample it all. The price of food and lodging is beyond reasonable. The views from the crest and neighboring peaks are just grand. I think I hiked about 13 miles round trip but you can drive to a closer start. I scrambled to the top and went a short way along the crest. It's a little scary. There are hooks along the top for climbers. I went in the morning and had the place to myself but by afternoon hikers of all ages were coming up. I drove out on a Sunday morning through villages and saw people out in traditional dress, and stopped to listen to singing from the churches. There are also a couple of outdoor beer gardens and restaurants to relax at in Breb a short walk from Teodora's. This is a really cool place to visit that few people from outside Romania seem to know about.
