Ella Mount Villa

Stayed in the triple room as a family. Ajith and Chamila were very attentive, the breakfast and Dinner were good, they gave us fresh fruits from their garden, let us use the Kids pool when no one was staying in the Villa, hooked us up with a fair Tuktuk driver, let us store things in their fridge and Ajith gave me tips for climbing Sri Pada during the night and even walked me to the bus station and made sure I took the right bus. Overall a nice stay.

The villa is in a very beautiful location, in the middle of nature, surrounded by tea fields, with many different birds. The host was helpful. The rooms are good.

The kitchen area is simply unused, very dirty, the bathroom is also very dirty.

It was a very lovely spot, tucked into the hills behind Ella. It took about 20 minutes to walk there from the center. The hosts were very lovely and the food tasty, with rice that is grown right on the property! The accomodation is quite spacious and you have your own little terrace for breakfast and chilling.

The bathroom is a wet bathroom which is quite common in Sri Lanka, but the space did end up feeling a bit damp, especially with the rainfall. I'd recommend opening up the windows when the sun shines to freshen up the room. It worked great for us.

It is a remote, quite place in the middle of forest and close to tea hills. You may hear a calming jungle sounds. The breakfast was good.

The shower didn’t work properly. It was a bit dirty in the room. The towels were a bit worn and old.

From main road to mount villa road is conjusted. Only small vehicle can enter like tuk tuk & Aulto etc

The property had its own veranda, comfy beds, hot water and everything you could reasonably expect for the price. The property is situated a short walk outside of Ella in the hills and is really quiet. We only had the sound of frogs in the evening to help us drift off to sleep. Breakfast was included too which was a bonus. The hosts were really friendly and helpful and you could WhatsApp them any time. We would definitely stay again.

Great accommodation, quiet place, friendly hosts and very helpful. You can also rent scooter from them. Food is also very tasty.

Bathroom could use a renovation.
