Great location, comfortable room. The view across the valley was very cool. Easy walk down town. Breakfast was superb, so much delicious food to choose from and the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. Great hospitality!

The location is great, the rooms are big and breakfast was really good.

The rooms are quite dated and the pillows were like plastic. The facade/reception of the hotel is nice but once you enter, it looks quite cheap and old. Breakfast was great but very wasteful, they kept bringing more food without asking. I arrived late after a long day and asked to have my welcome tea in the room and was told no, I had to have it sitting in reception before they would bring me to my room, which was very uncomfortable and weird. The owner always watches everything, standing in the corner watching you eat breakfast, which I found uncomfortable. The jacuzzi was freezing and a bit murky. The WiFi didn’t work in my room.

Beautiful hotel, quiet, great view of Ella rock. Location was great, very short walk down to the main town centre. There is a nice bar with pool table & restaurant. Room was large, and ensuite had great water pressure. The staff were fantastic! Breakfast was delicious, large & included both Western & Sri Lankan options. Served 7:30-10:30, however we only ate 1/3 mornings as we like to hike early. We inforned the front desk we wouldnt be at breakfast and they offered us sandwiches & water to take with us.

You must be able to walk stairs as all rooms are 3-5 levels up. This didn't bother us at all as we enjoy the exercise, but it may not be ideal for some people. The bar had limited drinks available, our friends were unable to order soft drinks/mocktails. However beers were reasonable price.

Lovely staff, great location, a short walk to Little Adams Peak, 9 Arch Bridge, and the Main Street for restaurants/shops etc. Excellent breakfast, rooms are clean and quiet, great air conditioning

Pool was a little cold and murky during our stay. Bed was rock hard!! Don’t book this property if you have mobility issues and can’t handle lots of stairs, we are young and fit so not an issue but there are lots of stairs!
