Pica Sedana Homestay

Breakfast was fresh fruit and an omelette. It was nice to eat it on the verandah and watch the lady put out the Balinese daily offerings. Pica sedana has traditional Balinese architecture and lots of leafy foliage (such as frangipani trees ). Just a 5 minute walk from Ubud palace and lotus garden to see women's dance troupe at night plus lots of restaurants and monkey Forest ! The staff (the family ) were really welcoming and helpful. Always nearby if you need help or to ask a question. Felt safe staying there as it was back off the main street and felt private.

Room wasn’t clean. I got different room than i booked and owners wanted to charge me more cause they gave my „better” room and i didnt know about it earlier

Wifi can be improved and it doesn’t cover all the places but not a major problem.

The location was excellent. The hosts were very kind. It was nice to stay within a traditional style home area in the heart of the city, but felt removed from the noise.

The hosts had other things to do, so they were not always available. I got the impression some other people living at the compound (family members?) were not thrilled to see us, but they were polite. You can hear roosters.

There was nobody when I came to the place. Although I had contact and was there at exactly the time as agreed.
