The son of the owner who manages the place was rude and disrespectful. He shouldn’t be working with guests as he may ruin the business of his father; however, the father was nice and apologetic towards his son’s behavior. Food below average and it was more like a kid portion!

I had an excellent stay at Santana Homestay! The location is truly unbeatable, offering easy access to everything you might need while maintaining a sense of tranquility. The room was new, clean, providing both comfort and privacy. One of the highlights was the private balcony, which was perfect for relaxing. I highly recommend Santana Homestay to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay!

Mr. Santana and the whole family were exceptionally gracious hosts. They made you feel extremely comfortable and were very accommodating. The room was spacious and nice, showers were warm/hot even, and the beds were very comfortable. AC was great, although didn't need every night due to rainy season, it was a little cooler. WiFi was consistent. Breakfasts were simple and delicious. And you can't beat the location. Close to everything and if not, you can get a Grab to take you somewhere that might be further away. There's a laundromat just up the road. Highly recommend this home stay if you're in Ubud.

The location was the best, since I’m not riding a bike I could reach everything needed but walking. The family was very nice, hosting was the best!

Unfortunately it was noisy, I guess it was just a temporary thing. First neighbors sawed trees, then other neighbors cut grass. In the evening there was ethnic music coming from somewhere. I had to wear earplugs at all times.

Lovely people, excellent quiet location in the centre of Ubud. Highly recommended!

I loved the location which was just a 13 minute walk from the Ubud Palace, but because it was not on a busy street was quiet. I woke up to. bird song! The breakfast - avocado toast and a big bowl of fresh tropical fruit - was delicious and the family running the home stay and their staff were delightful. The traditional architecture of the main buildings and the green courtyard with plants and grass was an added bonus.

The charm of Santana’s art and beautiful gardens made me feel as if I was walking into an oasis. The family made me feel very at home throughout my whole stay, greeting me every time I arrived and left. The breakfast was exceptional!

The shower head was a bit wonky.

Breakfast was so good. During my 3 days of stay, the breakfast menu changed everyday. It was toast and sandwich, but so good that i start my day with delight. What i also like about breakfast was that they served it with fruit. As a solo traveler i hesitated to buy fruit in the market but the host solved my problem by serving me a good plate of fruit :) And i loved its location.
