Vinayaka Ubud

Everything was perfect, the breakfast is good, the bedroom is big and the bed is very comfortable, shower has hot water, the pool is beautiful and the view is stunning. Very quiet but close enough to the city center. It’s possible to rent a motorcycle there and get laundry service as well, it was very handy for us. The owner is very kind, I got sick and she was very helpful. PLUS: there’s a PERFECT restaurant next door (Agny)

Ella and her little oasis are amazing! She is a lovely and helpful person. Th location is great, hidden away from traffic, heat and noise and nevertheless very close to the center. Really big bed, room cleaned daily and delicious breakfast included. Highly recommend Vinayaka!!

We had a wonderful stay at Vinayaka! The place was very clean, and the beautiful garden added to the relaxing atmosphere. The owner was incredibly kind and helpful, taking great care of us. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming.😊🙏🏽 Breakfast was brought to our balcony every morning. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet alley but still within walking distance of many great warungs. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable stay!

Other staff apart from owner were nice

I had very disappointing experience staying at Vinayaka. At first glance it seemed like a good place so I decided to extend from one week to one month. But the rude attitude of the owner made my stay very unpleasant. The air conditioner was not working properly and my continuous requests to fix it were ignored & perceived as burden. At one point the owner got angry at me and shouted that she doesn’t care and I should move out if I don’t like something, displaying absolutely no care and not taking any responsibility for things not working at her hotel. It left me feeling shaken and shocked. I been coming to Bali for 10 years and staying in various places & always loving the kind hearted Balinese people and never have received this kind of abusive treatment. On top of all of that, the owner started construction work at the room next door, loud drills for 4 days. No regards towards me staying there and no communication what do ever. Also, if you decide to stay there, only 2 upper rooms are ok to use as 2 downstair bedrooms has mold unfortunately. Save yourself from disappointing experience.

I loved the location. I loved being surrounded by peaceful gardens full of nature yet you were only a short walk into the heart of busy Ubud. The room looks exactly same as photos, I’d actually say even better in real life. The owner Ella was amazing helping me when I got food poisoning. She went over and above making sure I received medical treatment, going to shops to buy me supplies. She is truly an angel on earth. I will most certainly stay there again

Nothing I loved everything

Location is calm and soothing; yet not very far from Ubud centre. Opening the room door is like a fresh breeze because of lush greenery surrounding the property. Room was excellent at the price and you can expect all necessities there; nice big bed, air conditioner, clean bathroom etc. There are a lot of cute cafes just outside of property to spend great calm evening. Near by temple have cultural activities. A small 24*7 shop also near by. Land lady is very kind and helping. One day we had to leave very early for day trip and she was kind enough to pack the breakfast. Breakfast is not so grand but decent enough for a person; it was fresh and tasty. Staff is very nice.
