Mahanadewi Villa

We chose this accommodation because of its beautiful view of the lush greenery - and we were not disappointed! We stayed in a room on the upper floor, and the view of the green "jungle" was simply stunning. It was incredibly relaxing to just sit and take in the scenery. Even the rain was a pleasure to watch from the covered terrace. A sweet black-and-white cat kept us company during our stay, and we absolutely fell in love with her. Enjoying breakfast on our private terrace with a view of the greenery was an absolute highlight. We had the best Black Rice Pudding (without sugar) of our entire Bali trip here. The room itself was spacious and airy, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Another big plus: The accommodation is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud, making it a peaceful retreat (at least during our stay, as there were no construction sites nearby). Yet, the town center is only about a 15-minute walk away, and the path is quite pleasant. For those who prefer not to walk, renting a scooter is a great option. You can ride down to the main road, park at the corner, and then explore Ubud on foot. That’s what we did from time to time.

A few minor suggestions: We would have appreciated a mosquito net and additional lounge chairs or sunbeds on the spacious terrace. The room next door had extra cozy seating options, which would have been nice for our terrace as well. A small desk inside the room would have been practical for working on a laptop. When we asked about it, we were given the table from the neighboring room - so issues are quickly resolved here! Lastly, a new or less calcified showerhead would improve the water flow, as the pressure was a bit low (though this is quite common in these countries ;-)).

Very friendly host who makes beautiful drawings. Breakfast is plenty and very nice, served on our balcony - but no Indonesian food unfortunately. The bed had great matras, I slept like a log. Nice big bedroom with large balcony looking straight into the jungle.

Bathroom was functional, somewhat old. It was a bit dark to read in bed, a bit more light would be good.

Das Personal war freundlich und entgegenkommend. Frühstück und Lage waren okay.

Leider hatte unser Zimmer nichts mit dem zu tun, was auf den Bildern gezeigt wird. Es gab in der Unterkunft 2 sehr schöne Zimmer (wie auf den Fotos zu sehen), alle anderen waren deutlich älter und runtergekommen. Das Bad sah teilweise sehr eklig aus, was nicht nur an den verfärben Fliesen und Armaturen lag. Es gab in allen möglichen Ecken Ameisen, Spinnen und Geckos. Da die Zimmer direkt am Rand vom Wald/Dschungel liegen, war das wohl nicht verwunderlich. Am letzten Tag mussten wir dann jedoch feststellen, dass sich eine Maus hinter dem Badezimmermülleimer eingenistet hatte. Alles in allem für uns eine Enttäuschung!

Прекрасная вилла , просторная и с потрясающим видом на джунгли. Панорамные окна и большой балкон - это было прекрасно! Вода питьевая в ванной - 👍 Вкусные завтраки, которые приносят прямо на наш балкон. Белки, красивые птицы скачут рядом. Небольшой, но чистый и красивый бассейн Также в отеле можно заказать ужин. Находится в тихом месте, правда от королевского дворца идти минут 20 и в горку, если возвращаться.

Úžasní majitele, kteří nám vyšli vstříc s přáním vyměnit pokoj (v přízemí místo v patře), pomohli nám s půjčením skútru. Každé ráno na nás na terase čekala skvělá snídaně s úžasným výhledem do přírody - to bylo tak relaxujici! Moc milé paní pokojske které pokoj udržovaly každý den v čistotě. Klidná lokalita, přitom kousek do města. Krásný bazen. Pohodlná postel a čisté povlečení.

Ucpaný odpad ve sprše v koupelně. Slabší wifi.
