Alam Dewa

I stayed one day in Alam Dewa. The proprietors/staffs were super helpful and nice. I loved the location and the room. We got vegetarian breakfast as we requested. Campuhan ridge walk is walkable from the place. Bike rentals, shops are also close by.

Good value for money. Nice place in a jungle.

Loud aircon. We had a room on ground floor with windows to the entrance. The host was nice but little confused. Everything was ok.

A bit of very quiet hidden peaceful jungle paradise in one of the best locations in Ubud, near to centre but on edge of jungle, next to stunning temple. I slept so well here. The room is massive, loads of storage space, stays so cool all day as is well shaded(lower room that is). The owners are just so so lovely and sweet and thoughtful, they were happy to cook me breakfast absolutely any time (I'm a late riser) and it's a good breakfast! The mattress was a firm memory foam thing and huge! You had 24 hour access to good water, no need to buy bottles. They were happy to clean the rooms and patio every day. It was the perfect peaceful sanctuary I needed to get lots of rest for my first few days in Ubud. It has nice chill vibes

The main thing I didn't like, the damp problem, which I know is a big problem for all shaded areas in Bali, and is the price you pay for having somewhere cool. Just the air con system had lots of visible black mould on it where the air comes out, and I wander if it gave me a sore throat. They really need to clean it, I should have said something but I'm sure they will do it now :) And as it's a cool room I really wish there was a fan there as well as Aircon(always makes me sick), and a mini fridge was really missing from the room. The dog did wake me up early a couple times but other than that the dog is lovely and quiet and that's just Bali! The hill, and amount of stairs you have to walk up and down may not work for some people, but I didn't mind as even with my bad knee, it meant it was well tucked away from all the noise. As it was in the jungle and on the ground floor, and there were gaps under the doors, lots of insects would make there way in, so I had to put a throw by the door to try and stop them, but this is why they are happy to clean the room every day for you.Ultimately I loved it here , and im still very glad I stayed here, just mainly they need to get rid of that mold in the air con and the room could do with a fridge and fan, and that's all! Thankyou guys for such a lovely stay and being so chilled out ^_^

Situation exceptionnelle.

The room is very clean. Seems newly renovated.

The bathroom is a bit old. No shampoo and all the toiletries. The location is up in the slope and lights are very dim. So at night it’s a bit scary to go back to the room.
