Very tasteful decor

My husband stayed alone because I was unwell and thought the room was lovely. He couldn’t sleep on the second night due to something scraping loudly on the roof so he drove home to Dunedin in the wee small hours! He said the bed was very comfortable though and the room was well equipped.

Perhaps a wee check of branches or whatever was scraping loudly on the roof.

The building was a restored historic property. Everything was done in excellent taste keeping with the heritage of the area. But we had an induction cooktop instead of a wood fire which was a welcome touch of 21st century luxury. There are so many activities nearby it is difficult to choose the best. We did an 18km walk along the Clutha River almost to Alexandra. Do yourself a favour and spend a few days in this amazing place.

This is a small but beautifully appointed apartment in the middle of old Clyde. We loved our stay.
