Kandy Casa by Regus

I greatly enjoyed my stay here. I was treated to the exceptional culinary skills of Vijitha. The delicious and healthy meals are a compelling reason to stay at the Kandy Casa. The hill top accommodation is well sited in a peaceful location.

The property was located up a steep hill just outside of the main area of Kandy. Very easy to drive to if you have a rental or a driver. Beautifully kept and would recommend if looking for a relaxing environment without bother. The hosts were incredibly nice and couldn't do enough. This was 1 of 10 locations my family visited on a 17-day trip and can say we genuinely loved the place.

Great size rooms and bathroom but unfortunately there is no vent to release moisture which made the room damp. Nothing else bad to say about this great place.

The food was exceptional. We got a beautiful multi-course meal cooked just for our group and even got a packed lunch free of charge for our train trip the next day. The room was very spacious with an amazing view of the valley below.

The villa is set on a high hills and overlooks beautifully the mountains and the Buddha statue. We stayed in the room with the bathtub and it’s a gorgeous room, very spacious and with amazing light. But besides the room and the view, the highlight of this place is his manager and chef: Vijitha. He is a god send and will make your stay feel royal. His cooking is amazing (we even could watch and learn a bit) and he is full of attentions and smile and goodness. I got an injury during my stay and he was my doctor and it’s thanks to him that I could continue my trip. Book at least 2 nights if you can, you will not regret it.

Vijitha is an exceptional cook. Make sure you have an evening meal here. Very attentive kind hosts who were very helpful every time we needed something. Large room. Large delicious breakfast.

It would be nice if they made up the room each day

Great hotel, really comfy beds, lovely shower room. Nice breakfast.

The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offered a fantastic view. A special thanks to Mr. Vijitha, who was incredibly kind and prepared a delicious breakfast for us. We were also happy to receive a free upgrade to a suite with a bathtub, which made our stay even more luxurious.

The Staff was very friendly and helpful. The property manager and cook prepared delicious dinner and breakfast for us every day. He provided access to a guide tour and any additional information requested.

What we didn’t like about the property is that the bathroom ceiling was created by 2 pieces of plastic, allowing all type of bugs and spiders to get in the room. Same as mosquitos. When we escalated to the reservation manager for a compensation because the room does not correspond to a “deluxe room”which is what we paid for, he asked us to cancel our reservation in order to refund us one night; to avoid Booking’s commissions. We denied as we understand that this is happening frequently, and no bad reviews are being shown, cheating future customers. The thing is that in that floor of the house there are 3 bedrooms; 2 with bathroom completed but one like ours. So if you are lucky enough to get one of the two who are actually a deluxe room everything is fine, if not it’s a complete disaster.

The property had extremely large and comfortable rooms with fantastic views from the balcony. The staff were so helpful and friendly, the loveliest of our trip so far. The breakfast was amazing, so much food, so fresh and delicious. Our children felt comfortable and happy here.

Nothing we didn’t like apart from not being able to have dinner there because I didn’t confirm in the day whether we were eating there for certain. Our host was extremely apologetic that we couldn’t eat with him.
