Haniffas Holiday Inn

Good location although not many places to eat. We found some little supermarkets and just had snacks. We managed to park at the property which was also convenient as the roads were quite hectic around them. Hosts seemed friendly. Shared some tea whilst they were getting our room ready.

They had forgot we had a booking as we had booked it months ago. We couldn’t phone ahead as we have no mobile data. No breakfast was offered so then had to find some food in the morning which wasn’t easy due to the location. Lots of ants on the walls and geckos coming in all night. Was fun to see a firefly. Beds slightly uncomfortable. You need lots of jungle formula for the mosquitoes. No towels for the shower.

Bed was spacious and clean. Had a fan and a desk.

There were a lot of ants came through shower when I was trying to use it so didn’t use the shower at all. there wasn’t hot water(didn’t affect me, I just stay one night). Better add some air fresheners. No enough plugs.

Clealiness and position: ok

While the cleanliness and location were decent, the experience was marred by an uncomfortable situation at dinner. The host insisted on dining at the homestay, which wouldn't have been an issue if not for the awkward insistence on paying 1000 rupees for what were essentially leftovers from his meal

More of a homestay - simple accommodation in a beautiful, tranquil setting. Lovely hosts, home-cooking & peace; but maybe BYO toiletries.

Walls were mouldy, staff was unfriendly. Room didn't even have a ceiling fan. Checkout time says 12pm on the website but they kicked me out at 10.30 am
