Comfortable stay in Shirley, Solihull - Room 3

This property was completely unreliable. The day before arrival, they contacted me claiming there were “issues” with the property, which already raised concerns. Then, on the morning of arrival, they outright cancelled the booking with a completely different excuse. The communication was dishonest and inconsistent, and the way the situation was handled was unacceptable. There was no empathy at all for the fact that cancelling last-minute leaves someone potentially homeless for the night. Instead of trying to help or take responsibility, they were rude and just messed us around. If you’re looking for stress, confusion, and being let down at the last possible moment, this is probably the place to stay. Otherwise, avoid. Not happy at all.

Very clean. Large room. Comfortable bed. Easy access. Very quiet location- slept well . Really warm.

Would prefer no access to kitchen and have kettle in room instead.Was a bit confusing seeing signs telling you not to cook or use facilities but you can put things in the fridge etc. Otherwise it was a good stay.

The owner/manager of the property was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The property was very clean with all the basic comforts. Slightly outside the center of Birmingham but in a nice area.

Clean and cheap, and quite fine.

Was a bit small and the arrangements for getting in were poor. I was told someone would definitely be there to meet me, but turned up to find three unlabelled doors, no sign saying the guest house name. I tried ringing on the door bells but getting no answer. I couldn't get wifi as I wasn't in, and eventually had to call home and get them to check online to find that they had left a key code and proper instructions, which really could have been given to me a lot earlier.
