"Couldn’t ask for anything more!"

10.0

Easylife is a perfect, social, relaxing getaway! The owners are amazing and have all of the facilities you need, including delicious homemade meals! You can pick fresh fruit from the trees and swim in the lake. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

Not a negative - but you will need to rent a motorbike if you want to get anywhere on the island:)

"Welcome to EasyLife!"

10.0

The owners Man and Fa are incredible, kind, and generous people -- they've created something really beautiful here at Easylife. The name says it all. You will feel part of the family and have some great conversations with the owners and guests if you want it. Abundant plants, fruit, and animals in their garden, and delicious food. Located near Lanta Old Town, away from the resorts and crowds of the Western coast. It was the best place I stayed during my 3 week trip to Thailand! I hope to be back again one day :)

If you want to party every night or stay in a luxury place, with aircon, ensuites, and no insects/animals, don't stay here. If you are fine living a simple life surrounded by nature, then you'll have no complaints here.

"Very special and amazing Stay!! Although just for 3 nights😢"

10.0

Man and his wife were extraordinarily kind, friendly and welcoming. You feel like you come home <3 also, the chilling places, kind of like tree houses, we so calming. This stay really allowed me to slow down and get calm! I hope I can come back someday Thank you! Mara and Antonella

It takes some time to get to the rest of the island, but you are basically just surrounded by jungle which is amazing and not many mosquitoes (other than expected)!

"For jungle life lovers/ adventurous travellers"

9.0

- it’s an unique experience to stay in a wooden hut surrounded by nature (I stayed in the basic bungalow) - private hammock - fan, light (in the room and balcony) and mosquito net - within walking distance from charming old town (one street with restaurants and small shops) - very friendly owners (they care how you are and would help you with transportation and tourist attractions) - good restaurant with organic veggies and fruits (~100-150 THB per lunch/dinner meal) - I rented a scooter from them for 250 THB/ day. It was not the best scooter that I rented in SE Asia but it took my safely around the island (including steep slopes up and down with up to 20% inclination). I was driving rather slowly and carefully - they are also offering other activities (cooking classes, fishing. I can’t say anything about it because I didn’t use it) - usually good WiFi (it was getting worse in the evenings when many people were using it) - you get a towel - I got a free bottle of water when I arrived - I stayed there only for 3 nights but every night I was enjoying it more and more (it takes a while to get used to the jungle conditions for someone that is not familiar with it) Tips: -when going to Ko Lanta from Krabi choose a van company with hotel drop off. Otherwise it might get quite expensive to get there -The only way of locking your bungalow is by using a lock (I had my own; not sure if you can buy/ rent one from them)

- rock hard bed (the hardest that I’ve ever slept on and there are many hard beds in Asia; if it was more comfortable, I would rate my stay 10/10) - most of the attractions are at the other side of the island (beach, natural park, diving shops) so you need to rent a scooter or take a taxi (300-500 THB one way depending where you go) to get there. Some companies offering sightseeing/ diving tours don’t offer hotel pick up from this side of the island (you need to get to the other side on your own or pay extra for the pick up if that option is available). There is no grab on the island - I loved my stay there but mind that it’s not for everyone (I got cockroaches and huge spider coming into the hut. It’s normal jungle life😅). Mosquito net stopped them from getting into my bed so it was nice. It is also a bit loud sometimes (mainly because of sounds of nature but it’s part of the charm). The shared bathroom is quite basic without hot water
