Saming Chiang Dao Guest House

Quiet location, super comfortable bed, air conditioner, and spacious room! Had a great stay

We could park our scooters in front of the room, the ac was cold and there was a fridge in the room.

The room we booked was not the room we got upon arrival. The front door lock of one of the rooms did not lock properly. On the last day we were invited to the cafe for boiled eggs and what we thought could be breakfast. The owner bumped into us and before we saw a menu he handed us a glass with 2 soft boiled eggs and said we really needed to try it. So we did and needed to pay 20 thb for it. Not the end of the world, but it was a weird experience for us

The hotel seems to be new, the room was spacious with an ensuite balcony, very easy check in, great value for money, everything was clean and nice

We especially loved the views of Doi Chiang Dao from our bed. Our room was directly facing it and it was beautiful! The Wifi was great, place was clean, staff was friendly and helped us booked transport around etc. There was a huge supermarket right outside, 2min walk away from the guesthouse and a local morning market about 2min walk away as well. Loved it here and would highly recommend it!

There was one day where water was cut off but I think it is throughout the town so no issue of the property's.

The only thing I missed was to have glasses in the room and access to coffee and tea.

comfort, clean and central of the village. The bus from Chiang Mai pass through a shopping mall before to the Chiang Dao bus station, Saming Guest House beside the shopping mall.
