That we had to leave …

This was a fairly new country inn in a rural, mountain setting in a National Park. Great walks are just out the door. The scenery is spectacular, the rooms are clean, functionable and comfortable. The innkeepers, Ionna and Robert catered to our every need. Breakfast and dinners were spectacular, and our needs as vegetarians were graciously met .

The road leading to this place is unpaved and made us anxious on our first drive into the inn, but ultimately it’s part of the charm of this rural mountain gem.

The location was great. The view in the morning is amazing and there is a lot of sightseeing to be dine if you like hiking.

gorgeous scenery, fresh and cool mountain air (no need for AC), very quiet and peaceful, lots of hiking options

odd toilet facilities, but nothing we couldn't handle; windows kind of small, but there is a terrace and a gazebo

My family and I had a fantastic stay at Pensiunea Hodăița. The food was extremely tasty and prepared with a lot of love and care. Ioana and Robert were exceptional hosts and made sure that we felt like home while taking great care of us. We will for sure be back! A big plus where all of the animals which made our day better each day.
