There were people making noise all night long

Absolutely NOTHING!! (It was nice to get a partial refund when we escaped.)

Where do I start? I chose this place based on the reviews and pictures. The reviews were completely misleading, and the photos are old. What I found: 1) The location. The neighbourhood is full of the ladies of the night at every corner (they, and their clients, are probably the ones giving the false reviews). When we approached the place, my Uber driver (who was silent up until this point) started asking me questions like, "Do you know this place you're going to?", "What are you going to do there?", "Do you know what type of people use this place?" etc. At first, I was annoyed at these questions. Only when we were in the neighbourhood did I realise his panicked questioning was out of concern. My husband, who was meeting me there, had a similar experience with his Uber driver. 2) Once inside, the cardboards and bathroom were more worn out than what is shown in the pictures. The bedding was that old ouma floral type of bedding. 3) There was a powerful smell, which I thought was from the unnecessarily excessive use of sta-soft. My husband confirmed that it was actually a chemical used in mortuaries to mask the smell of the bodies. 4) The cockroaches were playing black mapatile right in front of us. I was just afraid of what was waiting for us if we slept on that bed. Needless to say, we left immediately (so fast that we were tripping over our bags, running to the door) and got a portion of our money back. P.S. When you include children in your search, it says "Oops! This is an adults-only property" #redFlag.
