The location and breakfast.

No wifi,no aircon, bed too small, no shower door, curtains coming off rail, plates & glasses chipped,cockroaches in bathroom. Cupboards in room had clothes in no space to use. Left early ,not value for money or 4 star.

Big comfortable bed. Beautiful pictures on the website of this historical place.

This place is really very tired, unlike shown on the pictures, and actually there is not much desire by the owner to improve anything....many broken or worn items,dust,neglected pool,overgrown garden, narrowed driveway. We had to ask several times to have the TV fixed. No fan in the room.2eyelashes on my plate and a very dirty fork spoilt my breakfast.This accommodation is way over priced. Several people already complained about poor value for money but nothing gets done about it. Royston hall is not to be recommended!! What a shame!

The tranquility and stunning setting on the river. Perfect break. The full English breakfast on the veranda was a real treat. The owner lent me her reading glasses as I had forgotten mine.
