Limerick cottages

The pool! This was awesome and provided a welcome interlude to the summer heat. The thatched cottage made a good first impression. The beds were super comfortable and very clean. Most of all we liked the hosts. They were welcoming and willing to help us when we had requests or questions. The hosts were also understanding and reasonable regarding the costs for items that were broken. We would have loved to stay longer.

Power cuts and water outages. These are ofcourse out of the hosts' control :-) The hosts mitigated against these cons by providing solar power, a gas stove, and water buckets/bottles. Mosquitos and other bugs. Be sure to bring along your bug spray! A few minor things like having an iron available for use in the cottage.

Friendly helpful nothing was too much trouble . Unfortunately the Pool was out of service, pity

The place is classic and well maintained. The location is perfect as well, close enough to the city while at the same time located in a quiet neighborhood.

A very serene place, I’ve only stayed overnight but could well imagine myself staying longer just to rest, enjoy the surroundings and visit nearby attractions. Bulawayo is a pleasant city in African terms. Spacious room, kitchen, private terrace with grill, hot water and pressure. Very friendly owner who can give tips on what to do in the area. Great value for money!

The owner has two dogs, which though may look menacing are very friendly and harmless - only a consideration if you are allergic or scared of dogs. Taxi ride into town is 5-10$ depending on your negotiation skills
