Wonderful, clean, comfortable and rustic place to stay in a village that has a rich history. Ismael is a very kind and hospitable person who received me at Chez Yakub car park, and even offered a tea upon arrival. The balcony is a great place to peacefully read a book looking at the trees, or view the starry night sky post sunset. Highly recommend!

We met Ismael, the host, at the pre-arranged time and location. He was very kind and friendly, and personally guided us to the apartment, located at the end of a small street in an almost completely uninhabited village. We arrived while it was still light outside, which was helpful, as the narrow streets are not illuminated at night. The apartment itself is very authentic; unlike most of the surrounding buildings, it has been nicely renovated. The interior was clean and well-organized. From the terrace we had a beautiful view of the palmary and the mountains. It is an extremely quiet place, as no one lives in the immediate area. Ismael shared a lot of useful information and was incredibly helpful—within a short time he even arranged for a local resident to give us a guided tour of the village, including the kasbah and many interesting sights. We enjoyed a peaceful night, and in the morning we watched the sunrise from the terrace. A truly unique and memorable experience.

If you’re looking for an authentic place to stay away-from-it-all in the Draa Valley, I would really recommend Maison d’Hote J. A cosy room with a terrace overlooking the eden-like palm grove in this semi-abandoned village near Agdz. Quiet and peaceful - and with Ismael, a helpful and friendly host.

Authentische Gastfreundschaft in einem renovierten Lehmhaus (Teil des alten Wehrdorfs Tamnuogalt aus dem 16.Jhdt) Ismail bereitete uns einen herrlichen marokkanischen Kaffee mit Blick über den Palmenhain, half mit wirklich guten Tipps und Organsation. Das Zimmer in dem historischen Lehm- ist einfach aber originell, klein aber für 2 Nächte hat es bestens gepasst.

De locatie was fantastisch , stil, heerlijk terras. Vriendelijke ontvangst door Ismaël , de host. Het uitzicht is als in een sprookje. Je liep zo de palmentuin in. Authentieke omgeving. Wel auto nodig om naar Agdz te gaan.

De keuken was klein maar fijn. Bazale benodigdheden. Keuken kan wel wat schoner en beter opgeruimd in de kastjes.
