- Gastgeber sind so herzlich, wie selten erlebt - Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich lecker, vielfältig und üppig (Dal, Roti, Sambal, Hopper, frisches Obst, Marmelade, Toast, etc.), jeden Tag mit einer neuen srilankischen Spezialität - Aussicht auf Ella Rock und Zug ist herrlich - Man ist überall (Bahnhof, Restaurants, Shops, Ella Rock Wanderweg etc.) in kürzester Zeit (an der oder über die Gleise laufen, ist hier ganz normal) - Zimmer hat alle essentiellen Annehmlichkeiten: bequemes Better mit Mückennetz, gutes WLAN (für Videocalls aber nicht immer ausreichend), es ist wunderbar hell durch große Fenster und hat einen Balkon, der mit Aussicht und Stühlen und Tisch zum Verweilen einlädt

- Eine Müllhalde ist nicht weit. Wenn der Wind schlecht steht, riecht man das auch ab und an, wenn man auf der Terrasse sitzt. Im Zimmer hat es aber immer wunderbar geduftet und das Problem bestand auch nur bei schlechter Windrichtung

Room was good great view of the famous train line, we turned up 1 day late due to extending our stay in Kandy, people was friendly

Very nice location, with amazing view from the room/balcony. Rooms were very clean and with mosquito net. Tea/coffee as we arrived. Breakfast was plenty full and tasty. Owners were kind and helpful.

Rooms were a little damp.

La ubicación perfecta. A 5 min del centro y sin el bullicio, puedes caminar por las vías del tren y es muy agradable. También nos hicieron la colada. Fueron realmente amables. El desayuno perfecto. Muchas gracias!

The location is amazing—just a short 4-minute walk to the main road and the train station in Ella, yet secluded enough that it remains incredibly quiet and peaceful. It is a family-run business, and you can truly feel the warmth and care they put into their property. The rooms are renovated, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast they served was very good. It's a wonderful place to relax!

The only negative aspect was the lack of acoustic isolation between the rooms. You can hear almost everything from the room next door. I highly recommend packing a good pair of earplugs, and if you have those, you'll have a fantastic stay!
