The location was amazing with superb views overlooking Nine Arch bridge. Both dinner and breakfast were served on our balcony and totally delicious. Our hosts were super friendly and very accommodating as we arrived super late on our first day.

"Very Good"

Host is friendly and all the attractions are in walking distance. Breakfast was great.

A little expensive considering what is offered (in comparison to other hotels in Sri Lanka) The hotel is a bit off the main road. Larger Vehicles may not be able to access, so TukTuk might be needed.

"Good homestay for a few days"

- Despite communication mishaps, staff are very friendly. - Great breakfast spread. - The views from your balcony are out of this world.

- Room is very damp, smells like mold and extremely basic - Water never gets warm - There is no prior communication by the hotel so you’ll get the shock of your life when you hear they don’t accept card payments- wish that would have been outlined upfront. - Staff don’t speak English and there are no general instructions on how things work. - WiFi didn’t work and instructions on how to connect weren’t clear.

"Amazing view from a great sanctuary hotel"

Incredible view from this lovely boutique hotel on top of a large hill. It feels like being in a luxury large treehouse. The service was excellent and went above and beyond to give us a great experience! Nice touch was getting breakfast served on our private balcony.

Amazing balcony to our room, there is gorgeous views from the bedrooms and to have your own private balcony overlooking nine arch gap and the surrounding area is spectacular. A lovely breakfast is brought to your balcony each morning, staff are really nice, would highly recommend.
