Horrible place. Please never go. The owner made us pay direkly when we arrived for the two nights with separate booking on booking.com. The room of the hostel was dirty, humid, moe, the toilet flush didnt work, breakfast was bad, dirty plates. We left after one night and went to another hotel. Of course the owner didn't give us back the money for the second night we didn't stay. The fotos on booking are not from this place or very old. For 5 euros it would be OK but not for 19 euros. Booking.com should not have this place on offer for reservations. Also you can't sleep, because the cook and the dogs are so loud during all nicht. This place is horrible. Never go.

Rooster kept us up from 2am, it does not stop nearly all night, so only slept a few hours, woken up tired.

"Average stay"

Location was central. Pancakes were tasty.

Broken handbasin. Bathroom shower drainage in front of the toilet so could could not keep feet dry. Badly lit entrance and easy to trip over hidden shadowed step. Early morning roosters.

"A cheap option, but molded walls and rooster noises underlied an unpleasant stay"

Location is excellent, close to the Bali center and market, and a walking distance from a supermarket and to Monkey Forest. The price is super cheap for the location. Hosts are very nice and polite. Breakfast was limited (choice between banana pancake and scrambled eggs on toast) but tasted very good. Bed was comfortable.

The property is in bad condition and pictures don’t reflect well. There is moisture damage and mold on the walls all around, both in the hallway and the room itself. Work needs to be done regarding this. Lots of ants in the bathroom coming from the walls. The famous rooster started singing (really loud!) at 2am, and was right under our window - it felt like it was in the room, making it impossible to sleep through the night. We woke up tired the mornings we stayed, despite the bed being fine.
