BAYT ZAINA - Nubian hospitality house

The location is amazing, Elephantine Island was a highlight of my trip to Egypt. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice on the rooftop with an amazing view. The manager and staff on the rooftop were very welcoming and always friendly and made the stay here even better.

We spent a total of 44 days traveling around Egypt, we slept in many hotels, hostels and guesthouses, but this place was definitely our favorite! The atmosphere of this place absolutely changed our brain chemistry. Time magically slowed down and we realized that the best activity was simply looking at the Nile from the beautiful roof terrace. It was here, perhaps for the first time, that we managed to escape the tourist hustle and experience something truly authentic. And for that I want to thank the incredible staff of Bayt Zaina. Their hospitality was so natural and genuine that we felt right at home. Every day, we shared laughter and conversations about everything and nothing. It's those moments, those smiles and talks, that we'll remember forever, more than anything else :)

Second time here. Love the location, the views, the quietness. Nice to have a free house boat for checkin and checkout. Great breakfast. Very fair rates for house boat use for local trips. Airport transfers worked as a charm. Excellent value for the money.

The location is fantastic. Not like in the photo anymore because there are buildings in front now but still with view on the Nile. The rooftop is amazing! Oh and the people working there incredibly kind, helpful and fun!!

The bathroom. The shower was located above the toilet, making it a bit difficult to have a normal shower.

This is not a hotel this is home ❤️ Everything was perfect, tje stuff are soo friendly tjey became friends ♡♡. The location is so convenient, the view from the rooftop is wonderful. I recommend this hotel to everyone !!

We had great time at Elephantine island and everyone at guesthouse was very nice and hospitable Location is great and peaceful on the other side from the town. Boat ride is about 5 minutes and always was on time Managers arranged a trip to Philae temple and felucca ride for us same day we arrived at noon. Everything was very smooth and we were passed from boat to car to boat to car to boat with precision! Felucca ride at the sunset was amazing and peaceful I really recommend just telling everything you d like to do and you will get it arranged smoothly Breakfast was fresh and with local touch - i really liked dates sweet jam
