The Village Guesthouse

I LIKED NOTHING 3-star rating is way too high for this shack. Everything is old and run -down. In my opinion there has been zero maintenance done since the place opened. The pool is dirty and the garden is unkept. There are weeks of leaves lying on the grass. Tiles are cracked and cornice is coming loose from the dirty and unkept ceiling. Everything is old, dirty and unkempt.

I disliked the whole place The place is not clean This place needs a major makeover My en-suite bedroom at home is by far much nicer and more luxurious than this dirty, run-down shack. I can't believe I had to pay R1300 to sleepover here. The food in the restaurant was extremely unappetizing and the breakfast was even worse. The restaurant has no ambiance whatsoever. Some of the other guests came knocking on our door, long after midnight which broke our sleep. I will NEVER come to this place ever again and I will also never recommend this place to anyone. This is a Guesthouse with no host or hostess. No personal touch whatsoever.

The rooms are very comfortable and the food at the restaurant fabulous.

It is right next to the church, so through out the night you hear the church bell ring every hour!! It does not make for a good nights rest.

Room was pleasant, staff were nice

The restaurant had great food, nice to look over the garden and pool from my room. Loved the big mini bar fridge in our room. Everything was very clean and staff really friendly.

I was just unhappy that I booked pool view room however got a room far from reception area.
