Friendly helpful staff, good breakfast, supper, nice big room and location near to town.

The weather ☁️🌡️ only joking, not the hotels fault 😕 The only criticism would be the lack of availability for supper for guests on a Sunday however due to the amount of food we had on the Saturday, the staff warmed up the leftovers to enjoy so no complaints.

"Happy Would stay again if the quieter rooms were available."

Breakfast reasonable. Facilites good. The receptionist was very helpful, friendly and efficient. No complaints.

Some rooms are much quieter than others. Some rooms are too close to the main road and to the church clock bell that chimes every 30 mins and on the hour. When booking, it should be more clearly indicated which rooms would be quieter than others etc.

There was a function the evening and although place could be made for us to dine elsewhere in the diningroom, we were told to eat in the room. Worst was guests of the function used our little verandah for their smoke-breaks and were very loudly criticising the establishment.
