The hosts were really nice and helpful! The bed was comfy the bathroom was clean and plenty of space on the shared area to chill out etc. the wifi was okay it wasn’t working properly on the evenings unsure why. Location is okay if you don’t mind a walk , it’s about 20/25mins walk to gale fort.

I recently stayed at Kings Villa in Galle, and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, blending modern comfort with local charm. The beds were incredibly cozy, and the staff was outstanding—warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food was a highlight, with freshly prepared Sri Lankan dishes that catered to both local and international tastes. Kings Villa truly felt like a home away from home, but with an added touch of elegance. I’d love to stay here again!

Staff were friendly and location was close to restaurants by tuk tuk and the atmosphere of the villa was nice. Breakfast was good.

Our room was on the top floor, so the water pressure in the bathroom was very low. In the space of 1 hour we killed 2 big flying cockroaches and one small one in the bathroom!!! The floor had many ants and the overall look of the walls in the room wasn't clean. We had a very uncomfortable sleep due to all these issues. Also a train passes by every couple of hours with a loud horn so it can get noisy.

Posh and upmarket rooms. Clean and tidy. Ample space for parking.

The bathroom was shared between two rooms which was not mentioned on booking.com. Hot water arrangement could be improved.
