Ladera - Vista Self-catering Guesthouse

Received a friendly welcome. Our host was contactable / available throughout our 3-day stay should we have required assistance. Being pet-friendly and also welcoming our small dog was an added bonus.

Nothing to complain about.

It is very comfy en secure, not happy with the swimming pool it wasn't clean and at night there is no lights at the pool.

We were booked at Ladera, but on route to Paarl we got a call that informed us that we were moved to a other guesthouse. We specifically booked at Ladera Vista because we had stayed there before and everything was very neat and clean. The other guest house we had to go to, unfortunately, I cannot describe and praise so highly. The bedding was torn and the towels are no longer soft and comfortable. The light that was supposed to be on during Loadshedding time kept going on and off until it died completely before Eskom could start again.

Racism, discrimination. Only white people should go here as then they will be treated properly, disgusting people inside and out. If you are anything but white do not go here, it's dirty and our people aren't use to that environment. I booked 2 rooms and everything was dirty in both rooms and on top of that the pool is always dirty. I paid over R10k for 6 nights and ui left after the first night and they are so bitter that they refuse to refund us for the days we weren't there, but then again they need the money more than I do as they knew we checked out and they still refused to pay me. When I was there they said I'll get my money back but after I left they refused, now that is how they are, scared and sad people still reminiscing on apartheid.

The room, environment. The people were nice and very accommodating.

I didn't like the fact that someone who was picking avos from the trees outside the premices climbed onto the fencing and wall and asked us for stuff while we were swimming.

Awesime place!!!! Upgraded without me even knowing!!!! Will visit forsure!!!!

When we arrived we were informed that they gave our booking to a different group and that they made arraignments for us at a different location. We were not informed before hand, we have paid on booking requested. I am very disappoint, I made the booking and paid excited to celebrate my birthday with friends. The fact that we were moved without notice or even asked us if we would be happy to go to a different guesthouse. The decision was made for us. I would have preferred a call or email explain the why they made a double booking after we paid. Giving us options to get our money back so that we can choose the second guest house ourselves.

The fact that we did not received any communication from the guest house and did not stay at the place we booked at. We were forced to stay at a different guest house.
