Der Aufenthalt war für uns absolut inakzeptabel und wir sind nach zwei von neun Nächten vorzeitig abgereist. Das Zimmer war baulich nicht dicht. Im Dach befanden sich sichtbare Lücken, wodurch zahlreiche Insekten – insbesondere Spinnen – ungehindert ins Zimmer gelangen konnten. Das Badezimmer war weder räumlich abgetrennt noch abschliessbar und war gegen Aussen halb offen, sodass ab Hüfthöhe keine Privatsphäre gegeben war und man für Personen im Aussenbereich sichtbar war. Besonders gravierend war, dass ein Mitarbeiter unangekündigt das Zimmer betrat, während ich mich auf der Toilette befand. Lediglich mein Partner stand noch zwischen ihm und mir. Ein solches Vorgehen ist aus unserer Sicht inakzeptabel. Zusätzlich fanden wir Mauskot im Zimmer und sahen eine Maus umherlaufen. Dies stellt einen klaren hygienischen Mangel dar. Der Besitzer wurde darüber informiert, reagierte jedoch lediglich mit der Aussage, dass so etwas vorkommen könne. Es wurde zwar ein anderes Zimmer angeboten, dieses befand sich jedoch noch nicht in bewohnbarem Zustand (u. a. laufende Elektroarbeiten) und war offensichtlich nicht bezugsbereit. Eine ernsthafte Alternative wurde somit nicht geschaffen. Wer grundlegende Erwartungen an Hygiene, Privatsphäre und professionelles Verhalten hat, sollte dies bei der Buchungsentscheidung berücksichtigen.

Wonderful, charming and peaceful stay in Jambiani We stayed 2 nights at Meliks Hotel in Jambiani and had a lovely experience. The hotel is right on the beach, very small with only a few rooms, which makes it extremely calm, intimate and charming — perfect if you are looking for peace and relaxation. The staff is absolutely wonderful. Alex and Issaia were especially kind, always smiling, attentive and ready to help with anything we needed. You truly feel taken care of. We had a double room with sea view, which was absolutely beautiful. There is no air conditioning, but honestly the fan was more than enough and we slept very well. The bathroom is open to the outside, without a window or door. This did not bother us at all as it is elevated and not directly overlooked, which actually adds to the charm. However, the shower and toilet are in the same space without a separate shower area, so when one person is showering, the toilet cannot be used. This was the only small downside of our stay. Breakfast was simple but good and efficient, and the Wi-Fi worked well in the room, which was a nice surprise. Overall, Meliks Hotel is a beautiful, peaceful and authentic place, perfect for a relaxing stay by the sea. We would definitely recommend it.

L'emplacement est top, direct sur la plage, à deux pas de Zanzikite, Louis très sympa et bon prix :=), des petits bars de plage etc... surtout meilleur aménagement des grands lits et transats sous des ombrières au pied de la plage. Les chambres et les équipements sont simples, aménagées très simplement mais avec goût, tout ce que j'aime,

La localisation (sur la plage), la clim, les petits-déjeuners

Le personnel était adorable mais nous avions du mal à obtenir certaines choses pourtant réclamées à plusieurs reprises (nous avions 2 serviettes de bain pour 5, 4 oreillers pour 5). Mais vu que le reste était vraiment bien, cela ne nous empêchera pas de revenir avec joie !

This is a wonderful unique place to stay right on the beautiful beach at Jambiani. Totally relaxed, wonderful hospitality. A very special place indeed
