It was clean and modern. The room was a good size. We had a good breakfeast. The owner is only there part time, it seems, but was very friendly. The town has a large supermarket.

The location is a little outside the village along a busy road. The immediate surroundings are industrial size agricultural buildings which make an unpleasant outlook. The balcony is too thin to comfortably sit outside and the very small outside sitting area is not attractive. The restaurant was not open to the public on the day we were there. The town should have had another restaurant, but this also was not open.

The rooms are very spacious and clean, the location is very convenient and the breakfast is delicious! Most importantly, the host family was incredibly friendly and kind. They welcomed us to their kitchen and we had a fantastic chat with them. The mother is heartwarmingly friendly and helpful and her son is a fantastic translator with a great taste in football (go Dortmund!). We enjoyed our time there very well and will hopefully be back sometime.
