The location is very good.

The price is too high for the quality of the service and the type of the facilities they offer to the customer. Even though the clarification that it’s not a “proper” hotel is made, the facilities were old and covered in dust, and the service in general makes the customer feel unwelcome (no amenities offered and they charge for everything, even leaving your luggage before or after check in) . Very different to the usual Japanese service.

I was abit concerned after reading the reviews, but to be honest I had a pleasant stay for 1 night. The room was quiet (thanks to the other guets) and spacious enough, with AC, a little table and a fridge. The location is great if you need to be close to the station. There is a convenience store with a good restaurant next to it at about 5 min on foot. You get a key for the building and one for your room.

The toilet and bathroom could have been cleaner. The host explained everything I needed to know, but other than that there was no interaction. He's not there most of the time. It wasn't a problem for me, but it might feel a bit "cold".

Comfi place close to station and a good ceramics museum. And different from other reviews, I did find a restaurant nearby. Same goes for a convenience store.

Location is great. Very close to the station. Cute traditional Japanese house vibes.

The only towel provided was a face towel.

Lovely large room with comfy futon and interesting objects and decorations. A range of books and cute tiled sinks.

The kitchen only had a microwave and a kettle

The staff was nice. The room clean.

Check out is at ten it’s too early. No one does that. We did not know before, even though it was told. Because we did not read the message, not everyone does. The owner was not very nice. We had to pay because we arrived 45 minutes to early and pay again because we left one hour too late. In total 20 euros extra. The communication used by the landlord in the messages and on the instructions is absolutely unfrriendly

The place is quite old, but we liked that there were many books. It is quite close to Arita station.

After we checked in, the owner came to our room to complain that we did bot answer his message. He did not accept our apologies and even closed the door from the inside and blocked our way out. This continued almost 30 minutes, after which we could convince him to leave us alone. It was so late that we could not change the place any more, but we did not feel safe and left very early in the morning. Never again.

The location is very good and the person was friendly.

The bathroom was dirty. The bedsheets were already a bit yellow, which made me think how often they were cleaned and changed.
