Grandi Cime Guest House

The Guest House is very clean, well-decorated and well-equiped. Monica is a really caring host and gives lots of advices.

The location is not ideal, you have to walk 20+ minutes to be in the center of Lecco, or take one or several buses that don't have high frequency. If you have a car it can be compensated.

Staff , very rude staff asking to checkout at 10 am , contacting me about towels that were in the room. They turn off the internet at 11 pm at night , no electricity at the middle of the night

Good budget option for one person in Lecco. The Lecco center ir around 30-40 minutes walk or 15 min by bus (you can tap your card, price 1,5EUR). By the guest house - Lidl. So you can buy food and cook at the kitchen. Kitchen fully equipped even with moka for coffee. Hostess was sweet and nice. Beautiful surrounding around.

the is NO air conditioner at all, only fan in the room (as written in description). It was hot. I stayed in June. My room was on sunny side. Fresh air was only in the middle of the night, so it was hard to sleep. If you need cold air for sleeping this is not option for you. As well, shared bathroom was humid as open window couldn't help enough with drying the air.

The property is immaculately clean and so well organised. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The host was very helpful and informative. There are beautiful mountain views and the property is convenient to catch the bus up to the cable car (a ‘must do’ in Lecco!) There is also a Lidl supermarket close by.

Be prepared for a 25 minute walk uphill from the train station to the property. Although the guest house is a little bit out of town, you can take a bus easily.

Great value, great location near Lidl and Iperal (another local supermarket). 25 min walk from the train station. The ceiling fan was very useful (it even has nice RGB lighting options)

Unfortunately, there's construction right outside. However, it's not super noisy (esp. if you close the door on the balcony). Only a minor inconvenience during the day (from like 8AM till 4PM-ish). The bed was really 2 beds with a gap in the middle, which isn't great if you're used to a big bed. The balcony with the best view (and chairs) is shared, which is fine, but that wasn't clear from the booking info. Each room has a smaller balcony with a partial view of the mountains, but there are no chairs or table to sit at on those smaller balconies.
