Location is quite unique in Stone, short walk to the town and other facilities. View of the Mill and the surrounding properties is lovely, ground floor rooms offer the best overall value and size and have outside seating. Breakfast is always hearty, proper full English breakfast unlimited toast, good ingredients and cooked by the family, delivered with care and love. Always my go to when staying in Staffordshire

pillows are a little hard, alternative pillows in the wardrobe far too soft, no real balance, but otherwise a sound nights sleep.

Staff are always polite and helpful. Breakfast is lovely.

There was no desk in the room, but this is not an issue for a leisure customer.

The location was good because of where my office is and where I needed to travel to next. The facilities were great, bed was really comfy and the breakfast was superb.

The bathroom was slightly cold, but that could be an issue with existing facilities, in terms of the building is an old one and I did wonder if it was subject to "Listed" type restrictions. The bathroom window was old, so not double glazed, but of a beautiful shape. The bedroom was more than fine and the temperature was fine
