Solemar Luxury Rooms - City Center Zadar, Free Parking

Localisation was very good, just 10 minutes away from the Old Town. The bed was comfortable, we had the softest sheets and we really loved it. The apartment was very clean.

It would be nice to have forks and knifes in the apartment.

Unfortunately noise from neighbouring attached room where there appears to be little sound insulation provisions

We had a really lovely stay at Solemar. Our host was very accommodating and particularly communicative for us bringing a car. You can park right outside the apartments which is ideal, and you’re just a 10-15 min walk into the old town in Zadar (and very simple walk in one straight line!) The room was very clean, modern and comfortable and Ivana was a fantastic host, liaising with us on WhatsApp. Perfect stay for a couple or person travelling on their own wanting to explore the gorgeous town of Zadar.

We loved everything! If we had to picky, we had a knock on our door 15 minutes before the check out time which put the pressure on us a little, but everything else was great.

The room was modern and clean. You will find everything you need for a comfortable stay in Zadar. The location is perfect and calm, just a short walk downhill to the old town.

There is a Bad smell in the corridor and it sometimes gets into the room. The air freshener in the corridor does not help much unfortunately

Owner did not inform of issues with the room and charged full price. Door to building was broken and didn’t lock. Room had a very bad smell like sewage. An air freshener was provided but nothing helped. There was only enough hot water for 1 shower in the morning. With all the up to date decor they neglected to include a toilet paper holder…just loose rolls. Normally that isnt something I would be bothered too much about but on top of the other disappointments it just shows the lack of care. Owner could only say sorry when informed of the issues. This place is a 3 dressed up as a nine.

Bed linens and bed was comfortable. Nice towels. Easy 10 minute walk to the old city. Straight down the street, no turns so you can’t get lost. Great location. Apartment looked very nice, modern ,chic.

The bathroom looked great but it was all tiled and every sound inside was magnified. We could hear the neighbors flushing their toilet and sliding around in the tub. We could also hear them moving chairs, etc. Same with the hall. Very loud when someone came in or out and one morning at 6:30 some sort of door alarm went off next door and we could hear the people struggling to turn it off. Garden view was if you stood up a looked out the window you saw a tree. City view you also had to stand and look at a park bench in long grass. Most “apartments “ we have rented have a variety of dishes, cutlery, even a cook top ,this one did not.
