Ein Stück altes Zeitz, mit viel Herzblut dem Verfall entrissen und wieder zum Leben erweckt - weiterhin viel Erfolg!

Breakfast next door open at 6:00 AM. Friendly hotel staff. Quietness.

No food service. Closeness to eating joints within walking distance was helpful.

The room was really lovely with some beautiful little touches throughout. The bathroom was much larger than we expected and shower was roomy enough for two! Comfortable bed and a great view! We stayed in room 5 at the top of the hotel which meant it was very quiet. The lady at check in was so helpful even though her English was not great she really tried to communicate with us using Google Translate. Her English was better than my German so it all worked out!! Free in room coffee, tea and water for guests was a nice surprise.

There were a lot of stairs to the top floor which was challenging after all day on our feet! Also it felt more like an Air BnB than a hotel with nobody around to ask anything. It’s deceptively hidden inside what seems to be a bunch of beauty salons which was no problem for us but did make it a bit difficult to find. There is no breakfast and it’s quite a walk to the closest restaurant so we ended up going to Aldi and picking up some pastries and bread to eat, and we also found a coffee place near the train station which was adequate for our needs. It’s probably not the best location for finding food if you don’t have a car (which we didn’t) but we managed just fine.
