Lovely property.

They seem to be short staff. The bedroom was so warm and the evening meal not great.

Loved it here. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds, fantastic breakfast. Easy pick up and drop off to Camino path. I would definitely be back.

No AC, despite advertising AC. We witnessed other guests abusing the swans in the pond on the property and effectively nothing was done about it.

Lovely buildings and surroundings

No air conditioning when it was very hot. Also slightly out of town so after a long days walk in the heat the extra couple of km walk was challenging.

Excellent dinner at fontedopicho gastronomy restaurant. Taste is delicious, small portion not too much - good for Asian People. I like the old trees with beautiful garden and swan in the pond. The Lobby is nice , decorationis vintage and I like the spa. After walking so many km it is good to reward myself with spa

The serenity and peacefulness. The views are amazing. Food and wine were excellent. Large clean rooms with great showers and amenities.

Nothing. Easily the best property I stayed at on my Camino.

The location and general setting.

The hotel administration. This place is in a great location and has a good restaurant. However, they are short staffed and do not do what they say. We booked 3 double rooms via Booking.com including breakfast. All three rooms were booked at the same price but unfortunately on two of the rooms only the lead person was named. The fact that two people were in each room was pointed out before we arrived and they said do not worry we will sort it out on arrival. Nothing was said at arrival but on leaving they decided to charge us €75 for all 6 breakfasts. We pointed out that breakfast was included, they agreed, but we had already paid. They said that we would be refunded when the admin staff were at work. Nothing happened and on reminding them they basically said get lost. Technically they may, in the small print, be correct, as a result of only the lead person being mentioned on the booking. However, we paid the correct amount for double occupancy including breakfast, and they did not do what they said they would. This is not what you expect from a hotel that is upmarket for this area of Spain. Beware especially if you book via Booking.com. They do not like paying the commission (at least 2 member of staff said you should book direct) and will do what they can to get it back.

Eine tolle historische Unterkunft mit entsprechenden Zimmer und einem großen, sehr gepflegten Garten. Das sehr gute Abendessen in Menü-Form und das Frühstück sind neben dem exzellenten Service hervorzuheben. Es hat uns überaus gut gefallen!
