La Viola di Assisi

Amazing location right in the heart of Assisi. Amazing views from the windows overlooking San Chiara Basilica and off into the valley of Umbria. Room had a perfect kitchenette, the most comfortable bed of our 4 location vacation, and a roomy bathroom with a full shower. As well as a very kind host which went above and beyond for us. Her English was more than enough to get us by. We hope to return with family and will be trying to book everyone room here.

Comfortable bed! Nice size shower with good water pressure. Great location near St Clare’s basilica.

There are some steps but fortunately not a problem for us. Coffee pods and simple prepackaged breakfast items provided which was fine since the cafe down the hill was wonderful.

The most beautiful hotel I've stayed in! The interior design is beautiful, so arty and interesting. The bedroom and bathroom were so clean and felt like new. The windows had beautiful views over the town. The host is so friendly and helpful, it was a pleasure to chat with her The location is perfect, Santa chiara basilica is just 30 seconds away and we could hear it's church bells in the morning. There was free water, coffee, tea and snacks in the room, nice touch 😊 I can't fault it at all, beautiful hotel at great value for money- we will definitely return! Thank you so much ❤️

Every facilities worked well. The whole building is beautifully reformed and sited near the center of Assisi.

There is no elevator to bring luggages up to a room. But Manuela, the owner, kindly let us to leave our luggages downstairs.

The location was fantastic - very central and close to some amazing restaurants and cafes. Our host was so welcoming and helpful, she gave us lots of recommendations and would check in to make sure our stay was going well. Checking in and out was seamless which also helped. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and had wonderful views from every window.

We stayed in a room with a kitchen, very tastefully decorated. Great location. Good view. Very friendly and helpful cost. Good value for money. A solid 9.

Internet was weak. Fix this add a washing machine, and it’s a ten.

Manuela was very friendly; the room was nicely decorated and it looked comfortable and cosy, it all looked very fresh and newly refurbished; all was functional and well designed. We felt at home.

we were waiting in the rain, as there was no sign of the hotel in the house - the originally booked hotels had no view (or only when kneeling down), were small and the heating did not function - we then were asked to pay extra to get a better room (which was indeed much nicer - still the heating did not work)
