"Awful, they took my $$ and didn't let me check in."

Nothing, they would not let me check in,

They took my $$ and would not let me check in. I was stranded in the middle of the night with nowhere to sleep & had to find and book a second hotel somewhere else. I had a local friend call since I don't speak spanish and they don't speak english and the woman who answered the phone yelled at my friend, telling her that they would not let me check in because it was too late. There was nothing in the fine print saying that I had to check in by a certain time, and if there had been, the woman could have at least been polite and empathetic or apologetic instead of mean and rude
