I really enjoyed my stay here – great value for the price! The room was spacious, the bed clean and comfortable, and the shower had unlimited hot water, which was a nice bonus. The staff were super polite and helpful, and the room was cleaned upon request. The location is definitely the highlight – just a short walk to the beach, bars, and restaurants, which is surprisingly rare in Bali. You can actually walk around the area, which made everything super convenient. The AC wasn’t working perfectly, but I managed to find a sweet spot to turn it on and off when needed. I didn’t spend much time at the pool, but it looked fine. Overall, it was a comfortable, quiet stay with no noise from the street or nearby bars. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a well-located and affordable place to stay!

There were a few minor downsides to my stay. The AC wasn’t working properly, though I managed to find a specific angle where it could be turned on and off. The community kitchen was quite messy, so I didn’t feel comfortable using it – luckily, there are plenty of cheap and tasty restaurants nearby. The walls between rooms aren’t very soundproof, so you can occasionally hear what's happening next door 😅. Still, the room itself was quiet and set away from the street, which I appreciated, especially when I wasn't feeling well.

Great value for money!! Staff is super friendly and helpful, perfect location near to everything basically. Clean and comfy. Small pool but big enough for a plunge. Went many times to Penny Lane Restaurant which has awesome food and daily to Crates Cafe for lunch.

Aircon made some noises but I’m sure they can fix it. Night guards sometimes smoke inside the lobby and it gets around the whole hotel and comes into the room through the aircon as well, as a non-smoker this really affects my lungs during my sleep. Please consider the guests health even if you don’t care about yours, thank you 🙏

The place is cosy and offers comfortable stay. Ideal for beach going which is a few minutes walk and strolling to the vibrant city center with numerous cafés, restos and spas.

The swipe machine didn't function properly which is an inconvenience given already the 2% surcharge and had to be reset.

I had a fantastic stay at this property! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. When the front desk staff weren't on-site, there was security present. The staff offer to clean the room at your convenience, allowing you to request it whenever it suits you, rather than being limited to a specific time window like many other properties. The room itself was clean, spacious, and filled with natural light. It also had a small balcony, a TV, multiple outlets (including one conveniently located by the bed), a safe, and shelving to store your belongings. The common areas were also excellent – I loved the pool area, and the rooftop was a highlight. It offered comfortable bean bags and great views, with the ocean on one side and volcanoes on the other. Another great perk was the kitchen area. While compact, it was well-equipped with everything you could need: a fridge, stovetop, utensils, dishes, pots, and pans. Plus, they provided drinking water free of charge. The location was ideal – there were numerous restaurants and coffee shops nearby (definitely check out BGS for great coffee), and the beach was just a 5-10 minute walk away. Having stayed in other parts of Canggu, I can confidently say this has been my favourite so far. What really made this place stand out, though, was the sense of community. I’m not sure what it was about the property, but it seemed to bring travellers together. I already can’t wait to return to A7 Guesthouse. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Canggu!

If I had to be nitpicky, it would have been ideal to have a desk in the room, and the shower's water pressure could have been a bit stronger; however, the water temperature got very hot which seems rare in Bali.

Favourite place to stay in all of South East Asia. Super reasonably priced, barely a 10min walk to the beach, rooms were very clean and wifi and air con in the room worked great. Staff were super friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be the pool is more on the chlorine side but that at least means it’s clean!
