Fantastic place to call home in Cuenca! Franco is a great host and us always on hand to help. Fantastic breakfast variety and you definitely won't go hungry. Rooms are incredibly comfortable and have all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Located a 10 min journey from the bus terminal and an easy location to explore the town.

Franco is an amazing host! His room is absolutely beautiful with nice interior. He even offered a tasty vegan breakfast! Absolutely recommended!!!

Wow, just wow. The accommodation is super beautiful, with inner gardens, rooms are nice, spacious and very clean. Breakfast is delicious and different every morning. Franco is a very kind host. I would go to Cuenca again just to stay in such a beautiful place.

Franco was extremely hospitable from the moment we checked in late, offering us coffee and cookies, the breakfast every day was delicious and extremely filling, the room was cute and comfortable, the hostal is beautiful and rustic looking with indoor courtyard gardens. My cousin has already given the contact information to her sister to share with her daughter and others.

The room was cold as we were situated by one of the outdoor gardens. Franco brought us additional blankets. Blankets were thin and could be heavier. A nice touch would be if we’re were each given a wrapped hot water bottle in the evening as we experienced at a different hotel in Ibarra.

We loved how great Franco and his staff was so accommodating with our needs. We have been traveling for a few weeks and we were able to get an upgrade at the last minute. They were able to do our laundry and we cannot say enough about the breakfasts!! We had such a healthy and a variety of different dishes for breakfast that they were the best that we had so far. Oh and one last thing, we enjoyed the little reading area in the courtyard after a long day of walking.

Franco was a brilliant host and couldn't have looked after us better. The room was spacious and well appointed. It contained everything we could have needed. The patio courtyard was beautiful.

There is not enough space for everything but it's definitely a recomendation. The italien owner just is so good, starting with Cappuccinos as a welcome, ending with getting up for is at 5 in the morning to call a Taxi and prepare another Cappuccino. Breakfast was sooo good, rooms were quite spacious and the patios well maintained. Its only a 10 min walk into City Center and and the area is safe. Some good restaurants are in the neighbourhood or just next door and don't miss the Cuenca Banos just 20 min by taxi (costs 5 Dollar to get there)
