The room was good value, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great with an excellent shower.

Relaxed & welcoming

Main railway line immediately adjacent to the property. Although it’s in a cutting the trains do roar through. Ok if you shut your window.

Breakfast beautiful

Breakfasts were lovely, room comfy

Entry slope was a little uneven, and bathroom had a small step hazard

Parking great, warm rolls at breakfast and good range of spreads for toast, yoghurts and cereal available and choice of juice.some fresh fruit available.

Beds lumpy and uncomfortable, very narrow not standard single size. Room very hot no fan, windows would only open an inch. Shower Gel and Hand Wash were nearly empty. Breakfast was disappointing, hard boiled eggs stale and old and I believe off. Certainly not boiled that day. Coffee was cold no hot water or milk available. Felt I was under constant scrutiny was not left to get on with breakfast host constantly in and out fiddling and clearing table before you had finished and felt rushed. Felt £15 for one night for a clean, well behaved SERVICE DOG WAS TOO MUCH. Access for walking dog was no good if disabled because you had to climb a stile into field with cows in it. Overall didn’t feel welcome

Wirkt alles sehr alt. Fugen im Bad verschimmelt.

The room was a very good size and the en-suite shower room was great. Breakfast was excellent.

We had not been advised of a train line running close by. I am a light sleeper so it did disturb me however my husband was not disturbed nor our dog.
