Lisheen Lodge

Great, peaceful location. Managed to park at the yard. Supermarket nearby and restaurants as well. The room was clean and nice. Wellcoming water bottles and some chocolate🙂

The room can be warm in summertime. We needed to open roofwindow even in October. Breakfast was small disapointment.

Very close to shops, great restaurants and beautiful scenery. Clean accommodations; quiet area. Welcoming host who was most gracious. Very nice breakfast included

Loved our stay room was lovely, breakfast was great with great variety. Or host Vinnie was amazing and couldn't do enough for us would highly recommend staying here great location with a short walk to either the beach or the centre

Only slight problem with the position of the toilet as we were in the attic room and my partner is tall and he kept hitting his head on the wall 🤣

Room slightly small for family of 3 people No TV or tea facilities in the room but these facilities were available on the ground floor

Our room at the lodge was super cozy and cute! I think it would be really ideal for a solo traveler. Vinny was an incredibly helpful and thoughtful host, he really went out of his way to help us with an issue we were facing and felt very available to help. Breakfasts were really nice, and in general the location was fantastic, just a short walk to all the action downtown.

Realistically, the room ended up feeling too small for two people - to the point we had trouble navigating around the room or managing our belongings. The bathroom was very small and directly next to the bed so there wasn't any privacy, if you catch my meaning. The coziness somewhat made up for that, since the room was very aesthetically pleasing, but especially for older travelers I could see the room size being an issue. The only other issue we had was that the wifi was down while we were there, which caused us some issues, but this seemed to be Vodafone's fault, not Vinny's.

Excellent location, easy walk in to the centre of town. Car parking available. Clean accommodation. Vinny was very welcoming.

Very good breakfast, lots to choose from.

Wi-fi was out of action on first day but didn't cause any great inconvenience. I assumed it was a local problem.
